AdventHub Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and AdventHub, [registered address] ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the website adventhub.org, the portal portal.adventhub.org, and the AdventHub mobile apps, including Church Clerk (together, "AdventHub").
By creating an account or using AdventHub, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use AdventHub.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is part of these terms.
2. Who can use AdventHub
- Age. You must be 18 or older to have an AdventHub account.
- One person, one account. Your account is for you alone. Do not share your password or let others sign in as you.
- True details. Give us your real name and an email address you control, and keep them up to date.
- Acting for an organization. If you set up or manage an organization on AdventHub, you confirm that the organization allows you to do so.
3. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password safe and sign out on shared devices. Tell us at once at privacy@adventhub.org if you think someone else has used your account.
You can close your account at any time under Settings → Privacy in the portal, or under Account & privacy in the Church Clerk app.
4. Organizations and their records
Conferences, missions, unions, schools and local churches use AdventHub to keep their own records, such as a church roll or attendance.
- The organization is in charge. Records an organization keeps about its people belong to that organization. It decides what is recorded, who can see it and how long it is kept. We look after these records on its behalf.
- Permission to record people. An organization must have a lawful reason, and where needed the person's consent, before it records anyone. A parent or guardian must agree before a child under 18 is recorded.
- Record only what is needed. Do not store government ID numbers. Avoid health details. Record visitors as a count, not by name.
- Roles. Organization admins choose who joins and what each member can do. Use the access you are given only for your organization's work.
5. Acceptable use
Please use AdventHub for its purpose: the work and ministry of your organization. You must not:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- look at, copy or change data you have not been given access to;
- upload anything you do not have the right to share, or anything harmful, hateful, sexual or meant to harass;
- upload viruses or harmful code, or try to break, overload or get around the security of AdventHub;
- use bots or scripts to collect data from AdventHub, or to send it large numbers of requests;
- pretend to be someone else, or a church or organization you do not represent;
- resell AdventHub or use it to build a competing service.
6. Your content
"Your content" means what you put into AdventHub: files, questions, sermons, comments and records.
- You keep ownership. Your content stays yours, or your organization's.
- What you let us do. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run AdventHub for you and the people you share it with. This permission ends when the content is deleted, apart from backups, which are overwritten on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell it or train AI on it. We never sell your content, use it for advertising, or use your chats or sermons to train AI models.
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to share it.
7. AI tools
Some tools (Bible, Ellen White Writings, Church Manual, Fundamental Beliefs, and the Sermon Generator) give answers written by AI.
- AI can be wrong. Answers can contain mistakes or miss context. Check important answers against the sources they cite.
- Not official teaching or advice. AI answers are not official statements of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They are not legal, medical, financial or pastoral advice.
- Your sermons are your own. You are responsible for what you preach, publish or share from a draft the Sermon Generator helped write.
8. Our service
- Ours to own. AdventHub, its design, software and names belong to us or the people who license them to us. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using AdventHub.
- Changes to features. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important, we will give you notice where we reasonably can.
- Availability. We work to keep AdventHub running and backed up, but it may sometimes be down for repairs or for reasons outside our control.
- Cost. If we ever charge for a feature, we will tell you the price before you are asked to pay. Nothing is charged without your agreement.
9. Suspending or ending access
You can stop using AdventHub and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if it breaks these terms, puts other people or AdventHub at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
If an organization leaves AdventHub, its records are deleted within 90 days, as the Privacy Policy describes.
10. Disclaimers and limits
AdventHub is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available, or that it will suit every purpose.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data you did not back up, lost income or lost opportunities. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to [the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or [amount]].
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We will post any change here with a new date. For important changes we will also email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using AdventHub after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Please contact us first so we can try to settle any problem together. If we cannot, the courts of the Philippines will decide, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
