Delete your account
You can delete your AdventHub account at any time. The same account is used by the AdventHub portal and the Church Clerk app, so deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere.
In the AdventHub portal
- Sign in, open your account menu and choose Profile settings, then Privacy (Settings → Privacy).
- Under Delete your account, choose Delete my account and follow the steps.
In the Church Clerk app
- Open the app and go to Home → Account & privacy.
- Choose Delete my account and follow the steps.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in details and profile photo. You are signed out everywhere.
- Your place in every organization, and your access to its tools.
- What you made in AdventHub tools, such as your sermons.
This cannot be undone.
What is kept
- Security and audit logs (for example, when someone signed in) are kept for up to 1 year to protect the service, then deleted.
- Records your church keeps about you, such as membership records, belong to your church and stay with it. We email your church's administrators to ask them to remove them.
Before you delete
If you own an organization that has other members, transfer ownership to another admin (Organization → Overview → Transfer ownership) or close the organization. If you are its only administrator but not its owner, make another member an admin. You will be asked to do this before your account can be deleted. An organization you are the only member of can be closed together with your account.
